Podium Design System Brand

(2020-23)

The Podium Design System branding was inspired by the ever-changing, dynamic nature of a digital design system. Taking inspiration from an algorithm, the brand language changes and evolves – creating new patterns and designs from the components, icons, typography and colors of the design system and the Nike brand.

Podium DS Website

(2022)

The Podium Design System website was created in response to the rapidly growing community of users and contributors. The site was a North Star that introduced the design system to Nike and served as an onboarding resource where teams could learn about Podium’s ethos, inspiration, and find links to our guidelines and libraries.

Podium Play Ethos

(2021)

Podium didn’t have an ethos when it was created in 2020 – which meant that teams using the design system really didn’t know what it stood for or how it connected back to the spirit of Nike. So we set out to create an inspiring concept around the Spirit of Play to re-introduce Podium to the org and get users excited and engaged.

Nike x Superfriendly

(2021)

A collaboration between Nike and Superfriendly (a design system consultancy) the Bodega redesign was the result of Nike product designers and engineers across different teams coming together to research, synthesize, design and reimagine one of Nike’s oldest internal tools using the Podium Design System components and styles.

The HAY App

(2023)

HAY is one of the most creative, inspiring home and furniture design companies in the world. After closing down many of its U.S. stores, HAY needed a way to continue to connect with their customers. Our idea was to develop an app that would create a sense of community and reward customers through an exclusive Hay House membership.
